Paying for street parking before heading off to breakfast.
San Sebastián
Breakfast at Cafeteria Avenida XXI. The food and service was excellent.
A nice little adventure visiting destination number forty-one on the tourist map.
With our car in possession, we head west to Bilbao.
 Bilao
The main attraction in Bilbao is the Guggenheim Museum; architect Frank Gehry, 1997. Gehry is the same architect as Seattle's EMP (2000).
Photos I snuck- There was an interesting exhibit with art from pre- and post- WWII depicting communism, fascism, and industrialization.
Guy crossing the street with a wheelbarrow.
Gernika was founded in the fourth century, though the city (pop. 16,000) was flattened on April 26, 1937 by aerial attacks by Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy.
A duathlon was going through Gernika.
On the drive north through the mountains toward the Atlantic, we passed cyclists riding toward Gernika.
We stopped in Lekeitio, a fishing town along the Atlantic, for a short walk.
After stretching our legs, we began driving back toward San Sebastián.
 Back in San Sebastián.
We went back to La Mina, the pizza place, for dinner. Dad shared his ice cream sundae.
