7 avril 2011 - Sarlat and a picnic in Domme

JEUDI
After teaching a morning class at École Jules Ferry I meet my parents in the Place de la Liberté. With coffee to go, we walk through Sarlat...
... and sit in a small square while my parents enjoy their coffee. Dog resting up on a wall- this is not the first time I have seen him there.
Driving out of Sarlat. Cross over a bridge spanning la Dordogne [River] where three boys are fishing.
After driving south twenty of Sarlat, we arrive in Domme, a beautiful walled city of 1,000 people.
Thursday is market day in Domme.
Commune de Domme truck driving through one of its city gates.
Dad looking out at the Dordogne Valley. Eating our picnic lunch.
We drive back to Sarlat, where I teach my afternoon classes at École de la Canéda.
After school, I find dad enjoying a book outside. I walk into town with mom and we gander at the Thursday Bio Market.
Bibliothèque Municipale de Sarlat. Chocolaterie.
Returning from the walk.
A delicious homemade meal, merci à mom.
Night falls and the third evening of repaving the roundabout beings.
There are two old gentleman in the upper two windows on the right watching the construction.
