A truck in the parking lot where the head coach of Sarlat's gymnastics team picked me at 7:30am and we began the journey east to Mérignac.
Sarlat took fourth place (blue and white leos) as a team.
The older girls from Sarlat took first place as a team.
One of the mom's of a gymnasts drove me home. We crossed over the Pont d'Aquitaine (Bridge of Aquitaine) on the way toward Sarlat. At night one cannot take in the size of it, but it is a substantial bridge. It was beautiful watching the French countryside pass under the stars, which were incredibly visible. I arrived back in Sarlat just after midnight.
