From inside my apartment I could hear what sounded like horse huffs, I looked out my window and sure enough...
Tonight was École de la Canéda's yearly fundraiser event..; bingo. It began at 8:30pm and went until after 11pm.

Upon the conclusion of Bingo, all the teachers and people on the "parent committee" helped clean up and rearrange the cafeteria. (Note, it is still decorated for Chinese New Year). Then in true French fashion, an activity is not complete without drinks and a meal. The apéritifs came out... appetizers and sparkling wine, then we dined on a potluck of dishes brought by everyone. It was three in the morning by the time I left.
