26 février 2011 - adventure back to Sarlat

SAMEDI
Back in France. Just before 7am we stop in Strasbourg and several passengers got off the bus.
At 9am we are passing through Metz and before heading further west we stop at a service station.
It is nearly 1pm when the bus arrives in Paris.
Gare de Montparnasse. TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse) south to Libourne.
In Libourne, I transfer to a TER (Transport Express Régional) heading east toward Sarlat.
Just before arriving at the Bergerac train station the TER ran over a dockey. The train was stopped on the track for about twenty minutes while they cleared the tracks. I watched cars pull up, wait, then eventually turn around. Some people got out of their cars to see what was going on.
The train finally rolled into the Bergerac train station. Everyone still on the train were instructed to got off and wait for further instructions. We waited on the platform, then were told to wait in front of the station. Three taxis were ordered for the twelve of us heading further down the line. SNCF paid for the taxis.
The taxi heading down the hill after dropping myself and two others in Sarlat.
