26 décembre 2010 - Nantes to San Sebastián via Bordeaux

DIMANCHE
Drive to the Nantes train station.
Managed to find a compartment all to myself, at least for the first couple stops, before it fill up on the voyage down to Bordeaux.
I had a two hour wait between connections in Bordeaux, so I wandered about the city for a bit.
 A flea market of sorts.
 Garonne River.
Families were taking walks along the river and friends were playing basketball, soccer, and hockey on inline skates together.
I find myself again amongst the holiday travelers in the Bordeaux train station.
A large map on the wall in the train station; St Sebastien is the last city labeled on the map.
The train was beyond capacity, people lined the aisles of cars. SNCF workers discuss what to do.
Fifty minutes later the problem was resolved after attaching another car to the end of the train.
Bought at tram ticket in Hendaye, France and get off in San Sebastián, Spain.
From the tram station I walked to the hostel, which had some festive deco.
