Today is the first day of the official winter sales in France. Sales are regulated by the French government and only happen twice a year- in the winter and the summer. Here is a glimpse of some of the stores advertising their sale.

From my apartment, I had a nice view of the workers pulling up the railroad tracks along the viaduct.
I went to the train station to buy tickets for some weekend trips I have coming up. There was this sign posted: En raison de travaux, l'accès aux quais est strictement interdit au public (Due to work, access to the platforms is forbidden to the public).
It is a busy day out my window- city workers taking down the Christmas lights around the roundabout.
