My group of kids did not have much luck, as people were either not home, didn't have candy for Halloween, or ran out. Also, the candy they did give out was quite different from the assortment of fun-size candy bars you receive in the US. The kids received more chewy, sugary sweets in the shape of a tootsie roll.
In the evening, everyone participated in a Halloween themed game of murder mystery.
