 Ice crystals on Imogen's car window resembling Alaska.
The timber industry is one of the industries in Sarlat and the surrounding area. Going in and out of Sarlat on the road to Bergerac we always pass these piles of wood; today they are covered with a light layer of snow.

LUNDI
École Jules Ferry has the only playground toy I have ever seen in a French school. It is rather rare that the children play on it and when they do it is quite supervised.

DIMANCHE
A group wearing Santa hats and dancing to country music. The gendarme are out in full force with the Christmas crowd.
 Sarlat's choir put on a Christmas concert in the cathedral.
 The streets are packed (for Sarlat's standard) due to the Christmas festivities.

 Six o'clock in the morning is a wonderful time to catch a bus to Périgueux.
