There are 7,000 hardboiled, dyed eggs in the gardens. These are eggs hidden in the garden for children under the age of five. The older kids have more strenuous searching: there are five different colors of eggs (blue, purple, pink, green, yellow) and each color is located in a different location within the gardens. Upon finding one of each color of egg, they line up to exchange their eggs for a bag of chocolate.Back to the car and drive the ten minutes north to Sarlat.
