Catch a morning train in Périgueux.

The train ride from Périgueux to Le Buisson... limestone cliffs and the Dordogne River.

Le Buisson, population 2,000, my first impression was that it was a ghost town. Imogen and I had a nearly three-hour layover before the train left for Sarlat.

Went to the boulangerie to buy a baguette.

Eat cheese and a baguette in the courtyard of the church.

To pass the time, I made a chain with the leaves I found on the ground.

The man in the signal box used a hand crank to move the traffic barrier up and down.
