Before I left to teach my afternoon classes at Ecole de la Canéda I witnessed a demonstrated against the rise of retirement age. A group of lycéens (high schoolers) took over the roundabout below my apartment. Video.

Je ne dois pas être violent (I must not be violent) was written on the chalkboard of the 2nd grade classroom I teach in. I assume some student has to write sentences using this phrase.   After teaching I hung out in the library for a bit to use the internet. |
